Every message counts. Longer messages count more and one word messages count a little. Past 500 messages in a day, extra ones count less, and past 1,000 they count for nothing.

Talking to yourself does not count. After three messages in a row with nobody else speaking, the rest earn nothing until someone joins in.

Repeating yourself earns nothing. A message that starts the same way as one you already sent this week counts as a repeat, even if the ending changes.

Messages people reply to are worth the most: 2.5 points for each person who replies, up to three people per message.

Talking with more different people earns more than talking with one person all day.

Reviving a quiet channel and getting a reply within 30 minutes counts as starting a conversation, up to three a day.

Reactions from other members add up, with no limit per message. The same person counts up to eight times a day.

Repeats, spam, bot commands and anything posted by bots earn nothing. Only this week's messages count, and deleted messages take their points with them.
