Five Nights at Freddy's is a popular game on RetroStudio. It was created by RichPerson03return and was created on April 1st, 2024. Its time period is set to Mid 2015.

Its gameplay is very similar to that of the famous horror indie game, Five Nights at Freddy's. This game has you take the night shift at a pizzeria, with animatronics attempting to kill you while you're in your office. Your only way of defense is by shutting the doors when an animatronic is close. You can also use the Security Cameras to keep tabs on the animatronics' locations and how close to you they are.

This game has a sequel named Five Nights at Freddy's 2.

“	Welcome to your job at Freddy Fazbear's pizza! Except the animatronics are trying to get you, so close the doors on them but be careful not to use too much power. Server shutdown or game is private = update!	”
	―- Game description

The gameplay

The goal of the game is to prevent the animatronics from getting into the office. At the top of the screen, there is a counter showing how many minutes the server has survived an animatronics attack. If an animatronic ever gets into the office, this counter will reset. Anybody can press the door buttons to toggle the door. This means that everyone has to work together to survive. However, there are a lot of trollers who may intentionally try to allow the animatronics into the office, or waste power. Players also have a camera in their inventory, which they can use to see around the building without them being there.

You can also leave the office and explore the building instead of worrying about the animatronics. Whenever an animatronic gets into the office, everyone inside the office will die. But any players outside of the office will not die. However, players will need to be careful not to touch the animatronics. Touching the animatronics will get them jumpscared and killed. There are some secrets and things to play around with outside of the office.

Players are taught the game mechanics by Phone Guy. At the top of the screen, there is a message saying to ask Phone Guy how to play. In the backstage, a red phone is sitting on the table with a dialog box above it. Phone guy is willing to answer any questions people have about the game.

Characters

Bonnie

He will move to the left door. Close the door on him, and he will return back to the stage.

Movement pattern: Stage > Dining area > Backstage > West hall > Supply closet > West corner > Left door

Chica

She will move to the right door/window. Close the door on her, and she will return back to the stage.

Movement pattern: Stage > Dining area > Restrooms > Kitchen > East hall > East corner > Right door/window

Freddy

He will move to the right door. Unlike the other animatronics, he won't go up to the door, but instead he will stand in the east corner with back eyes. Close the door on him, and he will return back to the stage. You can also hear him laughing every time he reaches the kitchen or the east corner.

Whenever the power goes out, all of the animatronics will stop but Freddy will disappear. None of the animatronics are able to kill you by touching them anymore. After a few seconds, Freddy will appear in the office and start playing Toreador March, while flashing his eyes. After a while of playing his song, Freddy will disappear. A few seconds later, everyone in the server will get jumpscared by Freddy and killed.

Movement pattern: Stage > Dining area > Restrooms > Kitchen > East hall > East corner

Foxy

He sits in Pirate's cove and slowly inches his way up. Once he gets out of the cove, he will have black eyes meaning he is about to attack. After a while, he will run (more so glide) towards the left door, and the door must be closed once he reaches it to reset him back into the cove. If the door is successfully closed on him, you will hear a banging sound.

Unlike the real FNaF 1, Foxy doesn't get stalled by the camera. He will just move no matter what. But also, Foxy won't drain any power once he bangs on the door, unlike the real FNaF 1.

Golden Freddy

Every hour, Golden Freddy will spawn on the kitchen table. You will know when this happens because a girl's laugh will be heard and the text "It's me" will appear on the screen. He will jumpscare you if you touch him. He will stay for a while and then disappear. Once Golden Freddy disappears, you will hear another girl's laugh. You can check when Golden Freddy is about to spawn by opening the menu (bottom right corner) and checking the server time. Golden Freddy spawns once the server time is around 60, 120, 180, 240, and so on.

Secrets

In the kitchen, there is a bloxy cola on the table. If players walk over this, they will be given one bloxy cola.

There are buttons you can press that play sound. Such as:
- Freddy's nose on the poster in the office
- The phone in the back stage
- Foxy's humming by pressing the red button in Pirate's cove
- Stage music by pressing the red button on the Stage

In the restrooms area, there is a fake wall that leads to the safe room. This fake wall is located to the right of the exit door (the door to the right of the Stage.)
Every hour, Golden Freddy will spawn on the kitchen table.

Halloween edition

The halloween edition takes place during october each year. It features colored lighting and decorations in each room. Also, the music that plays on the stage is replaced with halloween music. There are also other changes such as flickering arcade machines, fire in the kitchen, and a different poster in the office with 2 noses to honk. The only room that isn't decorated is the safe room.

There are also 10 cupcakes that you must collect in order to get the halloween badge. There is at least 1 cupcake in almost every room, and there are some ones that are hard to find. Such as the invisible cupcake, which phone guy tells you how to get. There is also a cupcake outside of the map, which is really hard to get.

If the power goes out, everyone will get jumpsacred by the pumpkin from fnaf 4 halloween edition instead of Freddy.

Trivia

The game has a max player count of 25 players
The game takes place in mid 2015
The game isn’t dead, it gets over 50 players occasionally
Having the lights on doesn't take any power. But having either door closed will take power.
- Having both doors closed at the same time doesn't take more power than having just one door closed.
- The power will go up faster than it goes down if none of the doors are closed
If you stand on top of the monitor on the desk in the office, you won't die when an animatronic gets into the office.
If you click the door buttons too fast, you will be taken to a room where you are forced to reset. This is to prevent spamming.
- If you're trying to fight with someone spamming the doors, you could be taken here so be careful
You can say "!sit" to sit, and "!office" to teleport to the office
Chica's cupcake doesn't have any eyes or teeth
There is an exit door to the right of the stage, and another exit door in the kitchen. You can clip out the map by either corner clipping at these doors, or by dance clipping through these doors.
- You can also get out of the map by flatwall clipping through certain points in the wall. You can tell where two walls meet by using shift lock and putting your camera inside.
If you press f8 and switch to the server tab, you can see the printed usernames of who is clicking the door buttons. You can use this to see who is trolling, but you can't really do anything about it.
If Foxy is running while the power goes out, he can still jumpscare everyone in the office.
