YOU vs HOMER: Remastered'nt (abbreviated as YvH) is a fan-created survival horror asymmetrical parody game developed and released by Agust3K and developed by various other people. The game acts as both a satire and a surreal reinterpretation of the long-standing animated series The Simpsons.

The game represents a remastered and refined version of "survive homer scary test", a prototype-style project initially developed by michae84525, which attracted attention due his old version of 'survive homer,' which is broken currently, and survive homer is a successor to Survive Homer from The Simpsons, Agust made it due to the game not receiving updates and updates we're slow^[2].

On September 28th, 2026, YOU vs HOMER: Remastered'nt has been discontinued due to major developers quitting, and a bunch of other reasons, The game was made private on October 11th, 2026.

Gameplay

Upon joining, there is a lobby with signs, slot machines, duff machines and etc. When the player dies, they join the Perished team and are sent to the lobby, where they must wait for a new round to start. There is a 35-second intermission once the round ends and then a new gamemode and map are chosen. The screen goes black for 1 second after intermission and players are assigned to one of two teams.

Barts: The player will spawn instantly on the map having 30 seconds to hide, before Homer teleports to the map to start seek for Barts. Once they hided, Survive for 175 seconds trying to run or switch hiding spots. If they did, round will end, granting force field for a few seconds. The player might try using gears, such as homers duff or flashlight, to increase chances of winning the game. Some Bart skins have different features, like Maggie having slow walkspeed and jumppower, but small character. To taunt, press 0 on keyboard (only works for barts).

Homer: The player will spawn in a box and wait 30 seconds for Barts to hide. Once time hits 0, they will be teleported to the map to find all of the Barts. The player only has 175 seconds to do so, or time will come to an end. Some Homer skins have different features, like having changed hitbox or more health. To taunt, press 1-6 on keyboard.

Limited-time events can give items, skins, etc. if the player participates in them. However, there is a chance that event items get removed after it ends.

Gamemodes

Classic

Each player spawns as either a Bart or a Homer; normally 1-3 Homers are picked depending on the amount of players, and the rest are Barts. If the player is a Bart, then their objective is to hide from Homer until the timer runs out or all Homers die/leave. If they are a Homer, then their objective is to kill the Barts by touching them before they run out of time. Each Bart and Homer will join the Perished team upon death. During the last 30(?) seconds player nametags are visible, making it easier for Homer to find Bart. If at least one Bart survives until the end, team Bart wins. Survivors on the winning team are rewarded coins.

Infection

All rules from Classic Mode apply, but there are a few differences:

Each Bart is given a slingshot that can damage and kill the Homers.
If a Homer touches a Bart, they are converted into another Homer and sent to the Homer spawn instead of joining the Perished team.
With each kill, the Homer's hitbox gets wider.^[3]

If 3-5 Barts slingshot in tandem, they can swiftly lead to a Homer's death. However, with each infected Bart a Bart team win becomes more difficult. Because of this, sometimes many Barts will team up to beat all Homers down.

Oops! All Homers

Oops! All Homers is a gamemode in which there's only 1 player in the Bart team and everyone else is on the Homer team. The gamemodes name is a spoof on the cereal, Oops! All Berries^[4]. It's inspired by the One Bounce gamemode from Bear ALPHA and a video of an admin doing the same thing before the gamemode released.

Skin Randomizer

During the time of 3/26/2026, around ~4:36 PM, a update was released, letting the player roll for any skin. This slowly got more insane, with more admin abuses happening at random times. People started making charts of what specific skins to get, and it just went from "Funny randomizer thing!" to "Free To Win", because of a certain skin based off of a specific game. In new servers, the randomizer is removed, and everything is well. It was still fun for some people, at least in the first 1-2 hours.

Trivia

On September 26th, 2025, a gamepass called Custom Skin was introduced. Players could activate it by typing /e custom in the chat and entering an image ID, which transformed their character into the selected image. While the concept was popular, the feature quickly stirred controversy.. It was only partially functional on PC and completely broken on mobile devices.
- Just two days later, on September 28th, the gamepass was removed entirely. The game itself was temporarily taken offline after users began exploiting the system by uploading bypassed images. Despite its removal, you might still spot admins, developers, and trusted users using custom skins. Occasionally, exploiters manage to access the custom skin panel using bypassed images and custom scripts.
On October 23, Cristiano100 banned the game for blood. However when the game was back, you would've received a homer protest sign. This update is known as the "4Kids" update, as 4Kids does a lot of censoring with their anime dubs such as Pokémon and One Piece, and the creators of YvH had to censor their game due to a Roblox employee informing Retro Dev that if they don't take action, RetroStudio could have forcefully been privated. ^[5]
- Afterwards, the game was renamed to "YOU VS CRISTIANO: REMASTERED'NT" because of the Cristiano100 4Kids situation.
- After the 4Kids update, the game has been renamed back to "You Vs Homer Remastered'nt" and you cannot anymore receive the homer protest sign, but there are exclusive skins left and they added a gambling machine for Cristiano100.

The game has gotten Content Deleted many times.
On October 17, 2025, this game received a fangame off of RetroStudio which visually and technically "enhanced" several features but lazier on some. Using a catchy song (Laughing Vity Jersey by PM_FOUR) and being recommended to several people gave the game massive popularity. However, this game has gotten too popular at times, leaving Remasteredn't in a desert, and the entire genre dying due to the amount of "fangames" (really just pay to win games) off of RetroStudio using Lua and the actual ROBLOX Studio, however this fangame and its creator has been exposed for being a weirdo (deerxsx), also because the fangame uses a BEAR ALPHA kit in the early updates, In the owners inventory, the owner has been caught stealing assets from YOU vs HOMER: Remastered'nt.
Sometime admins operate custom gamemodes, such as granting gears or changing people's team.
Between May 15th and May 19th, The_OfficialDB and various other developers and fans came together to make 3 parody joke events awarding skins, The first one, CART RIDE FOR THE 2 YVH SKINS, released on May 15th, 2026 at 10:01 PM^[6]. This event awards you with 2 skins: /e redux and /e uncopylocked. The/e redux skin jokes about the Roblox version was stealing their skins, and the /e uncopylocked skin is joking on YVH uncopylocked mods. On May 16th, 2026, Whenits2022 made a self project of another joke event for YVH, aka, Slide Down 999 Bajillion Miles to Homer. The game is a slide down game where you get the skin, the skin has not been yet released. On May 19th, The_OfficialDB released this time, another joke event^[7], this time, it parodies various front page games. (e.g. blarg, ARG games, etc.) known as JOIN TO BE IN A ARG FEATURING HOMER SIMPSON. It mimics mid to late 2010’s Roblox obbies and at the end, you beat a boss to get the /e skibidiminionbart skin. The_OfficialDB also got banned for 7 days due to a specific frame in the bosses face animation, but after 2 hours when he appealed, he was unbanned, causing the event to almost be delayed and canceled, the 2 events we're successful compared to Whenits2022's games, having over 20-40+ players on the front page. The reason why is due to having keywords such as ARG, OWNER ONLINE, and BLARG in the events names.
The game has brought back the 4Kids event many times due to requests.
The game also had an event called Pip vs Washington, where Bart is replaced with Pip from South Park, and an image of the president, George Washington.
The next event has been revealed and its known as Escape Homer Simpson! Obby, it's a sequel to the JOIN TO BE IN A ARG FEATURING HOMER SIMPSON event and its gonna be easy and gonna try to be accurate to the Escape ____ Obby games from mid-late 2010's Roblox games.
