Info

AliveFry was an active Retro Dev YouTuber with over 1.79K+ subscribers as of the this edit. And a former RetroStudio game developer. They're well known for making RetroStudio YouTube shorts content.

Developer Era

On August 24th, 2023, AliveFry made a game named "Work at a burger place!". His goal was to get his game to 100,000 visits. The game was growing fast until September 24th, 2023. On a unknown date, he gave studio perms to someone to help with something in his game. But the person later gave himself permanent admin, and abused it too in many ways, including banning players. He was named "dhgehyjh" (this was his username at that time). At the time, AliveFry did not know how to remove the admin perms, so, he created a copy of the game and restarted everything.

His game now has 35k+ visits.

On January 28th, 2024, he changed his name to AIiveFry.

He stopped playing RetroStudio for a while and lost interest in it.

RetroTuber Era

On May 5th, 2024, he came back to RetroStudio and created his YouTube channel named @AliveFry.

On June 11, 2024, he uploaded a video where he explained how to create a successful game on RetroStudio which gained over 15,000 views in the span of a few months.

On June 23rd, 2024, as soon as AIiveFry got back from his 1 week vacation, he uploaded a timelapse video of him making a game. He named the video "epic timelapse of me making a dumb game for content". The day after, his video had gotten him 400 views, which was a lot for him at that time.

On June 25th, 2024, AIiveFrys channels number of subscribers increased from 30 to 70 in an hour and a half. This was because he made a short that got over 12,000 views.

On June 30th, 2024, AIiveFry figured out how to start live streaming and streamed Retrostudio for an hour and a half.

On July 4th, 2024, he challenged his viewers to make him suffer and if they won, they would win 500 Retrobux. fatal_thePumpkin won the challenge. AIiveFry felt bad for another viewer that didn't manage to win, and he gave him 250 Retrobux. AIiveFry streamed the whole challenge for 2 hours and 42 minutes.

On May 27th, 2025, his channel surpassed 1,000 subscribers. He streamed the 3rd moment it happened that day (because people would unsubscribe) for 2 hours, 52 minutes and 31 seconds. It became his most popular stream. The next day, he made a short called "thanks for 1k subs.." and it became the video with the most subscribers gained with the least views on his channel. Because of this, on June 1st, 2025, 5 days after surpassing 1,000 subscribers, he got to 1.1K.

On May 4th, 2026, Alivefry would make a serious announcement^[1] on his Discord server, the announcement goes as follows:

“	I have a serious announcement to make. Today everyone in my class found out I had a channel. They couldn’t stop calling me Alivefry and threatened me to download all my videos and save them, and also put one on the class board for everyone to see. I was really mad with them and told them we would discuss this with the principal tomorrow. We solved the problem though and we won’t discuss it anymore. The thing is, I deleted almost every video, short and live except a few that are private or unlisted. This is an end of a 2 year old era.	”
―AliveFry

Then followed with:

“	I don’t know if I am going to do anything with this channel again. I am currently focusing on my personal life. I would like to thank you so much for these amazing 2 years on this channel. Goodbye.	”
―AliveFry

This currently marks the end of AliveFry's Retro Dev YouTuber career with 755,368 total views as of this edit.
