Description

Be Crushed By a Speeding Wall was a Retrostudio game that was created on February 4th, 2021, by HalcyonTV. Originally becoming outdated and broken, it was fixed in January of 2025. It is on the Featured list of Retrostudio and remains an impressive game at two million visits, holding second place in Most Visited games behind NDS that currently sits at above 8 million. It was banned in June 2026 for its art canvases.

Gameplay

The game is very straightforward where players must make their way through a giant tunnel while having to face a giant red wall that cannot be avoided out in the open. There are hideouts placed on the sides. There are four item containers which unlock as you receive more wins, in the following order:

1 Wins: Gravity coil
4(formerly 5) Wins: Speed coil
10 Wins: Skateboard
25 Wins: Fusion Coil

There are also 6 canvases, 1 large canvas, which all reset after 3 minutes. Take the stairs next to the main entrance and you will find a disco ball and dance floor.

Decline and bugs

BE CRUSHED BY A SPEEDING WALL stopped receiving updates after its release. It was affected by the Roblox Audio Privacy Update of 2022, which broke the soundtrack. Over the years these bugs appeared:

All meshes breaking(Most notably the trophy becoming a gigantic object and hills disappearing) also resulting in floating trees
All decals breaking(game logo, win requirements)
Disco ball no longer centers on the actual ball and causes a very bright rainbow in its surroundings

Final years

HalyconTV made a surprise return after New Years 2025 and last updated the game on January 6th, 2025, marking the return of BE CRUSHED BY A SPEEDING WALL, fixing the bugs in the section above.

By 2026, the game had once again fallen into disrepair due to breaking meshes and audio. BE CRUSHED BY A SPEEDING WALL was banned on June 18, 2026 for its drawing mechanic, which became prohibited to keep RetroStudio all ages.

Trivia

It is possible to make your own D.I.Y. Fusion Coil by equipping a Gravity Coil while being on a skateboard, allowing you to achieve both higher gravity and speed.
It is not possible to have a Fusion Coil and make it from start to end without having to hide, as just studs away from the finish line the red wall will respawn.
This used to formerly be the most visited game on RetroStudio before it was surpassed by Natural Disaster Survival around February 2023.
- This game, Tower of RETRO, and Natural Disaster Survival are the only games that have been confirmed to hold the #1 spot after January 2021.
