Info

Combat is a Retrostudio PVP game with many types of weapons, it is also inspired by games such as Escape from Tarkov, Rust, DayZ, and Stalker.

Start of the project

The project began in August of 2024, The owner was interested in military themes and wanted to create something like a First-person Shooter, and so he created a place called Infinity War. The place is about fighting in trenches and capturing enemy positions. But the game was never finished, remaining empty.

COMBAT Legacy Development Begins

After leaving the game for a long time, The owner came back again but with his friend this time, so they started making the game again. Only now it was no longer a war in the trenches but a game with a large map (in the creators opinion) and detailed buildings.

Game Screenshots:

In older versions there were only two types of weapons, the AK-74 and RPG.

After around 2 months, they updated the game and added more weapons such as the PKM, AKS-74U, SVD, As Val, Grenades, Glock, MP7, and MP5.

Combat Test Begins

After another 2-3 months, they switched to a new set of weapons and began to take the development of the game more seriously. They began to experiment with weapons and change them. A test map was added along with more weapons.

Map Update (Christmas Event)

The Combat Test would eventually end, with development continuing. And so the very first event in the game was planned, with the map changing to a winter look with the arrival of Christmas. The essence of the event was to collect gifts.

Global Change of Graphics

The developers, tired of making updates, decided to take a break again and properly work on ideas. Returning after a short time, they changed the game's appearance significantly then what it looked like before.

Work on transport

soon, the developers came up with the idea of making a vehicle in which other players could be transported. The idea was good, but it was cut from the game for several reasons.

Some players really didn't like this idea.
The transport was too inconvenient to operate and often broke down.
the map was not big enough for free riding
