Info

Info about constructionworker72.

constructionworker72 is a RetroStudio player who joined in January 2021, previously playing RetroBlox in late 2020. He has contributed to a few classics in the future and started out by making "The Lift" which is no longer accessible. Many of his games hit the front page in an instant, due to the engagement strategies that were used.

After "The Lift" died down, he would go on to take inspiration from the first "The Normal Elevator" game by FadedAnimator. This would be the first elevator game he would make and so on called "The Elevator" (spin off from The Elevator [Remade]). This game would continue to grow constantly, rarely leaving the front page. It has racked up in total 28,908 visits before becoming fully obscure with its old code.

This single game would end up creating one of the biggest game trends "The Elevator Trend". Many have followed and there are a couple mentions. (The Awesome Elevator | By Orangewood03, Elevator of Chaos | By FuIIEpicness & more and The Horror Elevator | by prangalar.

Aside from all the creations and inspiration many have took from him, he has competed in many events in RetroStudio. Such being RetroStudio Holiday Games 2022, RetroStudio Hallow's Eve 2022 (First Victor) and Egg Hunt 2023: Around the Eggverse

After a break from creating games he would return to make 2 new elevator games The Normal Elevator (2017) and The Normal Elevator (2015). Both have broken 90,000 visits and The Normal Elevator (2015) has racked up a total of 186,572 visits.

These games have became a fan favorite of many at the time, even consisting of people recording their own gameplay and uploading it on YouTube! Even pulling in a developer of an original port of the 2015 version of The Normal Elevator on Roblox, and getting Kloud4K's attention! The Audio update has let the game down as more elevator games continue to take its place on the front page daily.

His latest 4 projects consist of the following games: Sharks & Minnows, The Elevator [Remade], Tropical Obby and Dodge The Teapots of Doom!. All being a near 1:1 replica of the original games themselves.

Game Development

Somewhere around summer of 2024, constructionworker72 would begin a small project based off of bellyfan1090's creation of a classic Flood Escape remake. The remake from constructionworker72 takes place during the prime of Flood Escape Classic by Crazyblox. Its state now is how the remake will try to be mostly accurate to. During this period of time while the project was being worked on, the game was tested countless times by volunteers, it has been given very positive feedback, for its lobby design, UI and training room remakes.
