	―- Roblox game description

David Blocks 1994 is a Roblox game as well as a theme era for RETROBLOX and previously RetroStudio, made by robloxandtyler.

Description

David Blocks 1994 is a fictional Roblox client, imagining older Roblox in a 90s game setting. It was uncopylocked on November 4, 2021. As a RetroStudio time period, it was no longer an option starting July 19, 2022, although games before with the era could still be played. Existing games were set to ~~2012~~ Mid 2015.

As a Roblox game, David Blocks remains playable, and the two current places, David City and Crossroads are uncopylocked on their own, so players can build off of them.

Roblox Game

Features

Players have four tools: Rocket Launcher, Slingshot, Superball, and Part Manipulator(to move unanchored objects). There is, at the bottom, from left to right: Chatlog, Healthbar, Player Character, "Leave Game" button, and Connected Users. See Demonstration.

Bugs

On David City, you can barely, if not, never be able to use RightMouse to move your camera. There are also no zoom in-out buttons. Use first person.
You cannot manually click the chat bar because of the size of the cursor. Use "/".
In some rare cases, you cannot move your character entirely. Keep rejoining until it works.

Trivia

The RETROBLOX version uses the outdated version of the David Blocks engine.
RetroStudio removed the avatar feature from changing the skin color while in game.
There were spinoff versions with years 2020, 2000, 1996, and Robert Blocks. As of 2026, all links lead to a 404 page. See this older version.
