“	why are bad games always on the front page?	”

Info

DiamondDrencher is a 16-year-old RetroStudio indie developer who joined on the 17th of March 2022, but began actively playing almost every day two years later, in early 2024.

Everybody that knows and recognise DiamondDrencher have almost certainly known him from his most successful game today: Obby Creator. Garnering roughly 200,000 visits, and sitting comfortably in the top #72 of the Most Visited leaderboard, it's easy to say that his hard work has paid off.

Among his ridiculously excellent scripting skills, which he's always improved on day by day for 12 years, his natural perfectionism and critical thinking has allowed him to improve on many other skills, like modelling, UI designing, market analysis, and even composing.

His other games include Pass The Bomb, Obby but you have a long arm, and Flex Your Data. All three games have become popular for a good amount of time, but have all eventually died from lacking updates. Those game can be considered as "side projects".

Games

Obby Creator

DiamondDrencher's most popular game to this day. It is based off of an already-existing Roblox game with the same name, but is – to some players – surprisingly just as functional. You can build obbies, play other people's obbies, and that's it. What makes it fun, however, is how limitless it is. How is it limitless? Because creativity is the limit.

Pass The Bomb

One of DiamondDrencher's side projects. It is also based off of an already-existing Roblox game, but lacks some core features. The game starts with math.ceil(players*7) bombs spawning, and a quick game of Hot Potato begins. Once the players explode, a new batch of bombs spawn. This cycle repeats until there is one last player standing. The map also shrinks once 3 players remain.

This was also the game where DiamondDrencher really started experimenting with how he could design the Settings UI. The most impressive feature is the slider.

Obby but you have a long arm.

One of DiamondDrencher's most popular side projects. To no one's surprose, it is ALSO based off of an already-existing Roblox game, but it being the first instance to appear in RetroStudio, it gained popularity quickly. You spawn in with a long arm, and using this bestowed tool, you have to complete stages to touch the golden trophy at the end. You can also unlock skins with different requirements, like speedrunning the obby, having RBC, or being a beta tester.
