April Fools Egg Hunt 2026 Eggstravaganza 2010 - ROBLOX (series)	May The Fourth Sale 2026

Eggstravaganza 2009 was an egg-drop style event made as a precursor to Egg Hunt 2026: Vast Eggspeditions.

“	After being lost for over a decade, our team over at RetroStudio have managed to uncover a lost hard drive owned by former Roblox employee John Shedletsky in the markets of Mongolia. This hard drive contained many things… multiple hat prototypes, old event mock-ups, scripts to old lost games, nuclear missile launch codes- But the most important thing found was of course, the once lost media Eggstravaganza 2009 event prizes and plans. With 20 eggs to collect, you’ll be running around dodging explosions, guessing random trivia, and potentially even causing the world to end?! (We at RetroStudio do not condone the violence that John Shedletsky coded over 10 years ago, we only aim to capture & present it as how it was for accuracy purposes.) In order to participate, head on over to the catalog to pick up the Proto-Egg Basket, then join a Early-2009 era game anywhere on RetroStudio! You’ll see eggs raining from the sky straightaway!	”
	―Overview

Info

Eggs will drop from the sky in all games that are set to the Early 2009 time period. Each egg has a unique way of obtainment.

Eggs

Each egg has its own rarity. There are three rarities, these being Common, Rare and Legendary. Common eggs have a 575/600 chance of spawning, Rare eggs have a 24/600 chance of spawning and Legendary eggs have a 1/600 chance of spawning. The Vengeful Egg of Last Year's Getbacks does not fall into any of these rarities, as it is dropped by being killed by select people (as seen below).

Common

Name	Description	How to Earn
Passive Egg of Ambiguity	What are its wishes? What are its goals? Only it knows what it wants.	Touch to claim.
Obnoxious Egg of Sneezing	ACHOO! Ew... there's mucus all over my breakfast!	Stuns players by "sneezing" on them, players have to avoid its sneezes and touch it.
Terrified Egg of Catastrophe	While it may look menacing on the outside, deep inside, it's just a shy little magma egg. Awwww.	Upon getting close, it will start to roll away. However, it will start exploding if you chase it long enough. Touch the egg to claim.
Scientific Egg of Nerdiness	Maybe paying attention in Science was useful after all.	Upon touching it will ask the player to identify an element from the periodic table based on its abbreviation. If the player gets the answer wrong, they will be damaged until they eventually die.
Acidic Egg of Poison	Expecting a simple egg rain? Wrong, think again! Acid in your face!	Throws chunks of acid around itself, simply avoid it and touch the egg.
Timber Egg of High Falls	How bad could I possibly be?	Shows as not gotten but will still give it to you. Spawns off trees. Wait for it to grow to full size then shoot it off with a rocket launcher and chase the egg.
I <3 Roblox and I <3 This Egg	Unfortunately collecting this egg won't give you the sign... Oh well. It still loves you anyway.	Upon touching it, it will ask the player to enter what they love most into its textbox. Enter anything, then touch it.
Musical Egg of Rocking Out	Beethoven, Mozart and Bach. Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Alicia Keys. At the end of the day, everyone’s a musical genius.	Enter the name of the song it’s playing. Known songs Chocolate Rain, Day 'n' Nite, Kalimba, Badgers, American Boy, Fireflies, Single Ladies, Kids, No One, Just Dance, Viva La Vida, Do You Like Waffles, Hot N Cold, Low, and Lollipop. If the player gets the answer wrong, it'll fling them and will become inactive.
Nuclear Egg of Impending Doom	Now I am become Death, the destroyer of yolks.	You are meant to touch it, after which it explodes like a nuclear bomb.
Void Egg of Terrible Ends	You don't want to know what's on the other side of this egg.	Floats out of bounds (Y -80, usually beneath you), playing an ominous sound. Touch it to claim.
Compassionate Egg of Hand-Holding	Show it a good time, then you'll both be happy like two peas in a pod... or two eggs in a pod in this case.	Hold the egg for 5 minutes. If unequipped, will explode and kill the player.
Messy Egg of Paintsplatters	Aw, c'mon dude! Now I gotta clean this all up... Ugh...	Rolls around randomly changing the color of nearby bricks. Simply touch it.
Crumbling Egg of Great Falls	Didn’t think the eggs would become intelligent enough to start doing air raids like this.	Stand underneath the egg when it falls. If not collected, it will explode.

Rare

Name	Description	How to Earn
Lookin' Good Egg of Supa Fly	You wanna be Supa Fly? Well you gotta match this egg’s style. If he says it’s good enough, then you’re welcomed into the club!	Wear any of the elemental helm hats when touching it.
Windy Egg of Destructive Power	Unfortunately this one won't take you on a wonderful adventure to see the wizard so you can go back to Kansas...	Changes the skybox to a grey sky (Broken Sky) and creates a wind that pushes all players. Touch it to make the winds stop and revert the skybox.
Giant Egg of Terrible Rumbling	The damage this egg causes around itself can be considered as "eggquakes".	Shoot the egg with a ranged weapon(s) enough to burst it open and collect one of the eggs that come out.
Annoyingly Rare Egg of Hiding	Gosh, why does it have to be so annoyingly rare?	Has a rare chance of randomly spawning. You might spot it easily by the sparkles emanating from it.
Beanstalk Egg of High Climbing	No. There's no giant at the top. It's at the bottom instead causing havoc!	Upon touching, it will spawn a giant beanstalk for you to climb to the top where the egg is. Climb and touch it once more.

Legendary

Image	Name	Description	How to Earn
Disastrous Egg of End of the World	It's the end of the world as we know it.	Has an extremely low chance of spawning. When claimed, it will spawn a meteor which kicks everyone off the server upon impact.

Other

Image	Name	Description	How to Earn
Vengeful Egg of Last Year's Getbacks	Yeah? Thought it was so funny to kill us admins last year?! Try that again this year. See how that goes.	Be killed by someone wearing the Vengeful Bunny Ears. (Admins, Event Teams, Testers and Egg Drop Contributors only)

Catalog Items

Name	Price	Description
Proto-Egg Basket	1	From the remnants of what we could gather from a few sources, this was the original design of the 2010 Egg Basket gear, dating back to April 8th, 2009. It appears its original introduction was instead supposed to be the cancelled Eggstravaganza 2009 instead of Eggstravaganza 2010. The functions of the prototype also reflect this, showing what 2009 eggs you owned or didn't own. Instead of being locked behind Builder's Club, it instead would have been purchased for about 15 tickets or so. As such, it'll be repurposed for this recreation of the lost Eggstravaganza 2010 event.
Spring Clouds (Formerly April Showers)	75	Are clouds in spring pink? No, they're most definitely some shade of white or gray, but y'know... wouldn't really be fun if we just made a white cloud wouldn't it?
Egg Hairdo	100	It's not just a phase mom! It's breakfast.
Severed Rabbit's Head	150	It's fake, of course. It'd be a lot more smelly and red if it were real.
Caramel Bunny Ears	150	I want candy!
Easter Guardia	300	In Guardia legend, spring is regarded as the most important season. This additionally meant that Easter would become some sort of a well stuck holiday for the Guardia, celebrated with duels and elaborate feasts.
Helm of the Hidden Egg	500	Do eggs constitute as their own powerful element now? Of course they do!

Miscellaneous Items

Image	Name	Description	How to Earn
Vengeful Bunny Ears	To think... you all deliberately target the last Bunny Ears of Caprice owners... just so you could get a cracked egg? Well now... it's our turn. It's time for vengeance.	Automatically awarded to Egg Drop contributors, Testers, Administrators and Event Team members.

Trivia

When the event started, a handful of the eggs were bugged, causing players to not earn them despite meeting their requirements.

Several of the eggs and catalog items contain references to outside media:
- I <3 Roblox and I <3 This Egg is based off of the I Heart ROBLOX Sign.
  - The description of the egg also references this.
- Compassionate Egg of Hand-Holding is based off of the Togepi Egg from Pokemon.
- Caramel Bunny Ears' description is a reference to the song "I Want Candy!" from the Hop movie.
- Severed Rabbit's Head is based off of the TF2 cosmetic called Max's Severed Head, which is a reference to Max from the Sam & Max series.
  - However, the Severed Rabbit's Head has buck teeth and a small tail on the back, which are not present on the original Team Fortress 2 cosmetic, as the cosmetic has sharp teeth, which are akin to Max's actual teeth, and lacks a tail.
- Helm of the Hidden Egg's description is a reference to a line from the SpongeBob episode, "One Krab's Trash".
- Timber Egg of High Falls' description is a reference to the song "How Bad Can I Be" from the 2012 remake of "The Lorax".
- Windy Egg of Destructive Power's description is a reference to the iconic children's novel, "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz".
- Messy Egg of Paintsplatters' description is a reference to an episode of "Regular Show".
- Nuclear Egg of Impending Doom's description is a reference to a quote by J. Robert Oppenheimer, who is often referred to as the father of the nuclear bomb.
- Disastrous Egg of End of the World's description is a reference to the song "It's The End Of The World" by R.E.M.
- Beanstalk Egg of High Climbing's description is a reference to the fairy tale, "Jack and the Beanstalk".
While it was broken, the Musical Egg of Rocking Out seemed to have a low chance of actually being given to the player upon typing the correct song name. It's unknown why this was the case.
The context for the Vengeful Bunny Ears and Vengeful Egg of Last Year's Getbacks' descriptions is how in Eggstravaganza 2008, Roblox Staff wore the Bunny Ears of Caprice and had to be killed by other players for said player to obtain the Cracked Egg of Pwnage.
This event as a whole references the fact that Roblox never had an Eggstravaganza 2009 event.
