“	A rescripted version of the original "Generic Fighting Place", being the first retrostudio game i ever worked on. A kit fighter, set with three kinds of categories packed with many classes you can pick from. Along with the inclusion of many maps and various gamemoes. Currently in ALPHA Testing,	”
	―-Game Description

Generic Fighting Place: RESCRIPTED is a Class Fighting game, where players fight by choosing Classes (Characters that contain a moveset and statistics), which are later placed on a large arena with open environment, terrain and hazards.

This is a RESCRIPTED version of an old Retro Studio game of the epynomous name.

Gameplay

Whenever a server is first created, a short intermission will begin to give breathing room and time for assets to load. After that, the actual intermission begins.

After an intermission, the game picks a Gamemode based on a chance rate, and then picks a map that's associated with that selected gamemode. During the match, players are able to pick classes and enter the arena.

Under certain rules, players may not be able to re-enter the arena again.

Information

Classes

Classes are characters that are equipped with varying statistics and movesets in the form of Tools. Various Classes are split between 3 Categories: Offense, Defense and Support. All classes under said categories are also put under Branches (or Sub-Categories) as a side category, defining their playstyle while staying true to their belonging Category.

Sometimes, they may be locked under certain requirements in order to be used during a match.

All Classes can be performed well based on the user's skill and usage.

OFFENSE CLASSES

Offense Classes are classes that fight against the other party, dealing damage and inflicting debuffs to overwhelm the target.

Their health pool is varied between Low-High health, able to dish out varying damage and capable of apply Debuffs against the target, wether to overwhelm them or to buff the user's for more damage. They serve as frontliners against the enemy party in team battles, and have room for several branches to enter due to their enforced PvP nature.

There are only 7 existing Offense Classes, 2 of them hinted by titles that potentially reference the class's name.

DEFENSE CLASSES

Defense Classes are classes that offer defensive options against incoming danger, while also capable of healing themselves and nearby teammates.

They are packed with medium-high health pool, and are able to defend themselves with defensive options and health-gain options for self-survival. In some cases, they can also aid their own teammates through healing or buffs. They play out as Backliners and therefore have room for Defensive-Supportive branches for their lack of engagement towards PvP (With a few exceptions).

There are only 3 existing Defense Classes, 2 of them being Work in Progress but are accessible to be used, and 4 of them hinted by titles that potentially reference the class's name.

SUPPORT CLASSES

Support Classes are classes that vary from applying Buffs to Allies (User included) to Debuffs against Enemies. Aswell Healing to Allies and dish out Damage to enemies.

They are packed with low-medium health pool, and are reliant on the application of Buffs and Debuffs towards Allies and against Enemies, and are capable of healing themselves for prolonged survival. However, they are more effective towards teammates than themselves.

Aside from some exceptions, due to their lack of PvP engagement, a lot of room for Ranged or Supportive Branches make house here.

The Void: A large black plate that lies under the map, and will instantly kill the player (or in other cases, damage the player and/or teleport them back to the arena) on touch as punishment. Players are highly advised to avoid falling into the void in order to stay alive.

Defeating the Mini-Boss will continue to summon Snowmen during a short intermission. Afterwards, Snowmen continue to raid the area with a new Snowman Type. This repeats with an increased treshold until Wave 4, where SNOWBOT-MK1 Spawns upon reaching the treshold. Survive and Defeat SNOWBOT-MK1 to obtain the 'Cold Holidays' Badge.
Boss Fight	Players are given preparation time to prepare for the boss. Once the Intermission is over, the boss is spawned and players are tasked to defeat it while avoiding its attacks. Basic Knockback: Sometimes defined under Minor, Light, Mediocre, Heavy and Massive types alongside the Direction of the knockback.
Knockdown: Spins the target around in a matter to try and immobilize their character.
Grounded: Flattens down the target into the floor. This cancels Knockdown.
Keep: Keeps the target on a specific point, but their Vertical axis doesn't change.

- Status Effects | While not as many, there are Status Effects that can change your stats or your health, wether to buff or debuff you.

Injured: Target cannot heal by any means.

Trivia

This game has heavy references on three games: Arknights, Black Magic and Critical Strike.
- The 'Sub-Category' (or Branches) is a reference to the Operator Classes.
  - To add on this; Two of the Classes (Conjurer and Borealis) are references to Rosmontis and Snowshine.
    - Conjurer's Moveset is entirely based on Rosmontis' Tactical Equipment, being giant objects that are conjured by Rosmontis in order to attack Enemies.
    - Borealis's Moveset is planned to be similar to Snowshine's with a bit of inspiration from Aurora.
- A lot of the Branches in the game are taken from Arknights.
  - Artillerist, Flinger and Marksman are taken from the Sniper Class.
    - Artillerist in this context is a reference to the Artilleryman Sniper.
  - Mech-Accord is taken from the Caster Class.
  - Duelist, while being referenced to Dreadnought Guards, the name is taken from Duelist Defenders.
    - Hilariously, this becomes a reference when paired with Defensive Classes.
  - Guardian is taken from the Defender Class.
- A lot of the effects in the game utilize Roblox Meshes that are sourced from Gears, Accessories and even simple shapes.
  - One of Antarglacies's attacks are heavily based off the Berzerker, one of the classes you can play on Black Magic.
    - She is able to perform an Uppercut with her Frost Sword, which is something the Berzerker can also do, under the name of "Shadow Viper".
    - She can summon an Ice Spike wave, which is likely to be a reference to Berzerker's "Shadow Flame".
    - The reverse-gripped Frost Sword is also a reference to Berzerker holding the EnmaU in a reverse-gripped manner.
  - Beast's moveset, specifically Capture and Hades, are taken from two separate Classes on Black Magic: Beast and Samurai.
    - Capture consists of the user teleporting up in the air based on where the mouse is pointed at, creating a small shockwave when landing. But if there's a marked user, the user would be teleported above them instead.
    - Hades, while not exactly a move from Samurai (References a move from Ragna the Bloodedge from BlazBlue) and being named differently, behaves exactly the same in comparison.
- Lancer's planned moveset is highly based on Kyuuga.
- Some Classes on the roster are based off certain Classes on Critical Strike.
  - Blaster's moveset is a fusion between Gunner and Nightmare from Critical Strike and Black Magic respectively.
    - Ability 1 is a reference to Gunner's 'Tactical Slide', both sliding forward while firing a burst of projectiles.
    - air.Ability 1, while not a reference to Critical Strike's Gunner, it instead references Critical Strike: Infernalis Edition's Gunner.
      - This could also be a reference to Ravager's 'Void Arrow True Forme'.
    - air.Primary is a reference to Nightmare's Aerial variant of Shoot
    - Ability 2 is a reference to Nightmare's 'In Bloom', where the user fires multiple bursts with each one having a shorter cooldown one after the other.
    - air.Ability 2 is not exactly a reference to an ability from Nightmare, but from its Unleashed counterpart: HellFall.
      - HellFall's Aerial variant for 'Shoot' shoots multiple times in an arc.
  - Half of Executioner's moveset is taken from two separate classes; Front-flip from Thief and Lethal Strike from Stalker.
    - Stalker's Execution Strike makes the user dash forward and mark all targets hit, which then take 15 Damage and applies {INJURED}.
    - Thief's Quick Flip makes the user do a Flip forward. This, however, doesn't grant them invicibility frames.
- The Player Death Effect is a reference to Arknights.
  - Specifically when an Operator retreats upon dying.
    - This is futher emphasized by the Sound Effect used when dying.
Antarglacies, despite being a reference to Berzerker from Black Magic, her whole AI and combat style is based on Soul SazErenos.
- A lot of her attacks try to predict her target's movement. Soul SazErenos does this aswell.
- All of her attacks are performed through combos based on distance from her target and outcomes.
- One of her attacks are references to moves that Soul SazErenos uses:
  - Her Cold Divider is a reference to 'Buttterfly'.
    - To add on this; it was originally gonna have a glyph summoned infront of her, with a beam casted when plunging into the glyph.
  - Antarglacies' Main attack is called 'Thrash'. Whereas Soul SazErenos has a identical move name in his third ability.
- When Antarglacies' health is half, she says "You're a pain."
  - Soul SazErenos also says this when initiating Phase 2.
    - Antarglacies' death dialogue also references a portion of Soul SazErenos' dialogue when initiating Phase 3.
  - She also will mutter or yell words before using a special ability.
According to Ultrajesus10, the Giftsplosion 2025 part of GFP:R was said to be rushed, hence some content were cut and bugs arose on release.
- Antarglacies was planned to have Running, Dashing and an extra ability. But all of this didn't make on time.
- Previously, all of the armed snowmen from Operation: Snowfaint would have issues targetting nearby players, eventually removing this part of their AI and sorted to going towards the tree.
  - SNOWBOT-MK1 however, remained untouched.
- Originally there were gonna be a 4th Task for the 'Mainline' Quest, being "Eliminate # players on FFA."
  - It was cut down to 3 Tasks for more simplicity and less difficulty.
- Snowmen were originally gonna also spawn on the Maps, but this was scrapped likely for their buggy AI during testing and time constraints.
Operation: Snowfaint is a reference to Critical Strike's Operation: Christmas Gamemode.
- While not exactly the CS5 version, it's moreso referencing the CS3 version.
  - Both involved in stopping snowmen from getting to the base, some of them choosing to travel in a straight lane, or chooses to target players.
- Both Operation: Snowfaint and CS5's Operation: Christmas utilize the same soundtrack used for non-boss waves.
Borealis is the only female class in the game as of now.
- She is also the only class that uses more than one accessory in her character's design. (Hair + Hairband)
There is a hidden decal you can find out of bounds; it is behind the left door on the Support Class entrance.
- The decal in question is an image of Fujimasa March from Umamusume: Cinderella Gray.
  - Hilariously, there were multiple Oguri Cap images used as placeholders for one of GFP:R's badges.
