Info

Logic Gate Test (previously named Logic Gates Test) is a game that simulates logic gates real-time and collaboratively. The game uses a top-down perspective camera^[1]^[2] and uses an interface similar to RetroStudio's script block selection interface to place and remove tiles. Other players can also collaboratively work at the same time^[3], contributing to the same circuit at the same time. Updates happen close to instantly.

Tiles

You can select tiles by clicking an option within the selection menu. Tiles are separated into categories, which can be changed by clicking the category button, then choosing a category. The menu is scrollable. The selection menu features a search box.

Tiles are connected together and can have up to four states:

Invalid (Red)

An invalid state, usually occurs when there's no input.

On (Yellow)

Powered on.

Off (Dark gray)

Powered off.

Z-State (Blue)

Neither On nor Off, caused by the Tri-State Buffer. Acts similarly to the Invalid state.

Tiles

Tiles are sorted based on how they are sorted in-game.

Category	Name	Description	Parameters
Wires	Counter Clockwise Turn	A wire that turns counterclockwise.
Clockwise Turn	A wire that turns clockwise.
	Straight	A wire. Nothing special.
Bridge	Two wires that cross each other without interacting.
T-Split	A wire that splits to the left and right.
CCW-Split	A wire that splits counterclockwise of itself.
CW-Split	A wire that splits clockwise of itself.
Tri-Split	A wire that splits in all available directions. Currently acts like a T-Split due to an oversight.
Inputs	Switch	A toggle switch.
Inputs	Clock	A clock that switches between on and off at set intervals.	Pulse Time The amount of milliseconds a pulse lasts.
Gates	AND Gate	The logical AND gate, outputting an On state if both inputs are also On.
Demultiplexer	A 1-to-2 multiplexer. The output that gets the value of the data input is determined by the selector input.
Multiplexer	A 2-to-1 multiplexer. The output's value is chosen from either data input by the selector input.
NAND Gate	The logical NAND gate, outputting an On state if both inputs aren't On.
NOR Gate	The logical NOR gate, outputting an On state if both inputs are Off.
NOT Gate	The logical NOT gate, outputting the opposite of it's input.
OR Gate	The logical OR gate, outputting an On state if either input is On.
Tri-State Buffer	A buffer. If the control input is On, the output matches the data input. If the control input is Off, the output is put into the Z-State.
XNOR Gate	The logical XNOR gate, outputting an On state if both inputs are the same.
XOR Gate	The logical XOR gate, outputting an On state if both inputs are different.
Pull Gate	A special gate. It outputs an Off state if the input's state is Invalid or Z-State. Allows loops to form.
Memory	SR Latch	An SR Latch.
Memory	D Latch	A D Latch.
Outputs	LED	A light.
Outputs	Number Display	A screen displaying a number on it. The least significant bit is the bottom input. The number is displayed in decimal.
Miscellaneous	Sign	A sign that displays text on it.	Text The text displayed on the sign.
Blank (and it's colored variants)	A tile that does nothing. Used to visually merge tiles together or separate circuits.
thanks for playing	A fun tile that when placed has a random color and emoticon. The possible emoticons are: :D :P :] :> >:D ^_^ :0 xd thanks for playing ngl

Notes

↑ The camera is controlled with WASD to pan laterally and IO to zoom in and out respectively.
↑ Previously, the game had used a studio-like camera instead.
↑ Players are represented with a square and their username where their mouse is in the real world. In older versions, they were instead represented with Roblox Studio's team create object, then a custom model created by MangoCoatedWorm.

Trivia

The game is the first game to have it's style of building.
- It's also the first game to feature a search bar.
- It was also the first game to feature a studio-like camera.
- Also collaborative editing.
- These are all unverified but I haven't seen it before anywhere else, so whatever
  - Remove these if you want.
Yes, it really does perform that well. I think.
You can save and load entire circuits by opening the save menu with Ctrl-S.
