	―Game Description

Pick A Side is a Retrostudio recreation of a decision selection game created by SirMing. The recreation of this game was made by sage_flugel.

Gameplay

When the round starts, players must select one of the options on either the Red or Blue screens depending on their opinion. When all of the players have decided, the round starts.

The player starts off with a rolling pin to fight with, but earning points allows them to buy and equip better weapons from the Weapons shop.

When you kill people, you win points, you also win points after every round.

Gamemodes

There is a diversity of gamemodes the game has to offer; when a round starts, a random gamemode will be chosen. These include:

• Normal, the most common map.

• Swordfight, a map with a bridge elevated over deadly lava connecting the two sides.

• Maze, a standard maze that acts as obstacles.

• Maze 2, this has less walls than the other Maze but has a building with trusses in the middle.

Weapons

As mentioned before, players can buy weapons for points. These weapons go up in price the more powerful they are, with the player starting with the rolling pin. Event weapons are obtained from limited-time events.

Weapon Name	Obtain	Description	Commentary
Rolling Pin	$0	The standard rolling pin. Does decent damage	The player the weapon gets for free, and does weak damage.
Claymore2	$30	Your average blade. Does decent damage.	Nothing really special, does weak damage.
Fencing Sword	$45	En garde! High reach.	Again, nothing special.
Bluesteel Claw	$70	Embrace your inner beast! Does high damage.	Basically a shorter range version of the other three weapons before.
Viridian Katana	$95	Easy to slash through foes, easy to win the battle	And again, not special, but it has a slight speed boost.
Mackerel	$100	Slap your enemies.	This knockbacks enemies, actually pretty good, but still weak.
Gearworks Sword	$130	Trips your enemies. Does decent damage.	Pretty good weapon for the price, stuns players and renders them unable to move.
Handgun	$157	A 12-bullet wonder, with a reload.	One of the only ranged weapons in the game and it's good for beginners.
Katana	$185	It shall not break, it shall not bend. Slashes your enemies with a speed boost.	Horrible, it has a speed boost but that's it. Takes 4 hits to kill an enemy.
Ninja Claw	$200	Stun your enemy with a strong punch.	This is a decent weapon, but will do NOTHING against a crowd. Fun to use though.
Rambo Knife	$225	Hold to throw the knife, or stab your opponent	Definitely one of the best weapons in the game, the throw deals half of the enemy's health.
Sniper	$237	Pick off opponents from afar. Has a reload.	Honestly, this is worse than the handgun at $157.
Freeze Ray	$240	Shoot powerful ice bullets at your enemies.	Also one of the best weapons in the game with its ability to stun-lock players.
Winged Magical Staff	$260	Cast firey, stunning orbs at your enemies.	Annoying weapon, but easily overwhelmed. Definitely a good choice though.
Crimsonwrath	$300	Turn your enemies red with a speed boost	Nothing special about this weapon, has a speed boost though.
Cavalry Sabre	$325	Has an ability that grants +8 walkspeed.	Basically the katana but faster.
Sword of Epicredness	$350	Create a red ball of explosion upon kill.	Good weapon, does high damage, additionally the explosion is good for crowd control.
Shadow Sword	$365	Slash at your enemies as you are nearly invisible.	It's alright. Most people will notice you, however.
Flaming Mace	$420	Sets enemies ablaze, dealing 54 burn damage.	A really good weapon, only needs 2 hits to guarantee a kill.
Sea Sword	$550	Rule the seas. Has an ability.	The ability is broken, but it used to be really powerful. Without it this is just the bluesteel claw in terms of damage.
Zombie STOPing Axe	$600	Blind and stun enemies.	Pretty good, not worth the price though.
Windforce	$690	Send your opponents away with a knockback	Seems good on paper but you will just die so easily with this.
Scythe	$777	Heal yourself as you fight opponents	Probably a top 3 weapon, one swipe can kill a full-health player. Hard to use though.
Zombie Crossbow	$950	Fire arrows that turn your enemies into zombies.	This is good if you are covered by your teammates. The zombies are very powerful, and you will rack up kills.
Mystic Flame Sword	$1125	Leaves behind a burning trail of fire and deal very high damage.	The high damage carries this weapon, this is also extremely good for crowd control.
Chiefjustus Gavel	$3000	Dispense justice with this. Ability sends you into the air onto your enemies.	Probably the best weapon if you know how to use it.
Rifle	VIP Gamepass	Own V.I.P to unlock	Honestly, it's alright. Wouldn't pay for it.
Ban Hammer	Kill the Owner Badge	Kill the Owner [BADGE]	Worse version of chiefjustus gavel. Cool weapon though.
Ice Sledge	Winter 2023 Badge	Freeze your enemies. Hold to throw.	One of the best weapons. Like the freeze ray, it can stun-lock, but this actually has explosions and melee ability. Probably the rarest weapon in the game.
Egg Staff	Easter Hunter Badge	Send your enemies into the air.	Mid weapon, pretty cool though, as it can hit several targets and floats them up into the air as an egg.
Summer Sword	Summer Party Badge	Works on the beach	Reskin of the Shadow Sword except you're not invisible.
Sword of Eternal Abyss	Side Slayer Badge	Slash your foes into a despair so dark that even light cannot escape it.	This RIVALS the $3000 weapon. The blackhole ability is just that good.
Throwing Rocks	Dodgeball Master Badge	Become Ape Titan	Extremely fun to use, but sadly not practical.
Pumpkin Bow	100 Candies! Badge	Shoot explosive pumpkin arrows.	Again, really fun to use, but it's not that good.
Hallow Blade	250 Candies! Badge	Summon pumpkins and dash at your enemies.	And AGAIN, fun to use, but it's trash.
Frost Knuckles	N/A	Obtain by getting the legendary gift. Freezes your enemies with combo attacks.	due to the owner quitting, no one has this weapon. Game is literally stuck in the christmas update but the 'legendary gift' was never added.
