Info

RETROBLOX is a game made by Retro Dev (robloxandtyler and GuestIsJustBest) that simulates old ROBLOX versions from Late 2010 to Mid 2015.

The game was discontinued due to losing its popularity due to release of its successor, RetroStudio, however despite it being replaced it is still playable, albeit some things are broken (ex: chat)

History

2019

RETROBLOX was created by robloxandtyler in November 9, 2019. However, the game was formerly called "Untitled Old Roblox Simulator".

Around late November, it was renamed to RETROBLOX.

RETROBLOX would usually have one of the old games like: Work at a Pizza Place, Natural Disaster Survival, Crossroads, and many others.

2020

Around Early 2020, The game's popularity exploded by reaching 100+ total players.

Around Mid 2020, the game would get banned including the creator robloxandtyler due to games like Work at a Pizza Place and Natural Disaster Survival being copylocked which resulted in both of them being removed for copyright reasons.

2021

During Late 2020 - Early 2021, the game's popularity started slowing dying due to RetroStudio rising in popularity. However in January 19, 2021. Flamingo made a video about RetroStudio, which also infected RETROBLOX to get 100+ active players at it's peak.

In June 2021, Retro Dev confirmed RETROBLOX is dead, however the game still received updates.

2022

In May 2022, RETROBLOX was popular again because RetroStudio went under review. crazyblocks234 (admin) said "I don't see a point in maintaining a game that is already pretty outdated."

In June 2022, RetroStudio went back up again being unbanned, Resulting in a huge dip for RETROBLOX and as of now resulting in a low player count for RETROBLOX.
