ROBLOX Prison, a game inspired by ROBLOX's Prison Life, is a game located in a prison where Correctional Officers (Prison Guards) watch and direct prisoners. A large majority of players become Prison Guards just for the purpose of killing Prisoners, as Prisoners are allowed to be killed anywhere, at anytime. It is one of the most popular game on the platform. ROBLOX Prison, despite being popular, has been in a controversial state for a while now, with players stating that Prison Guards just go around killing Prisoners for no reason thus making the game unenjoyable.

Tips

There is no way to escape as there is no outside world to escape to. As of April 10, 2021, it is just a prison, nothing more.
If there are no Prison Guards outside of the Armory, hug the armory door until a Prison Guard opens the door with a Keycard, this should allow you to get a gun to defend yourself.
Prison Guards usually go around killing Prisoners for no particular reason, use the crowd and panic to potentially sneak into the Armory using Tip 2.
If there are less Prison Guards than Prisoners, that may indicate that the Prisoners took over the server.

How the game was made

ROBLOX Prison was made during a time where scripting was very w.i.p, meaning that the resort was using the toolbox.

The pick a team things were made by using a spawn location, putting a lava script into it (using the lava killbrick model), disabling the option where guards can spawn, and making them change teams on touch.
The guns were made by using the paintball gun from the toolbox, changing the mesh of it (now a corner wedge) , and changing every possible color in the script to yellow (or the color of your bullets, and also removing everything that makes it unrealistic.)
The keycard doors were made using the tool only door script, making a tool called 'Keycard', and putting that name into the tool only door script.

Downfall

Around late 2021, ROBLOX Prison started to face a severe downfall. This is for many reasons:

There is only one place: that being the prison, meaning that you cannot escape the prison and can only roleplay.
Meshes and decals started to break, like most of the guards’ weapons being triangles, and the decals being on the side of the parts instead of the front.
Better prison games: Games like Ender's Prison Life have more stuff to do, therefore making it unreasonable to play this instead of that.

The game has became a ghost town ever since, being extremely rare for it to appear on the front page.
