This page explains extra formatting than the usual normal text, you should ALWAYS format any page with the wiki with either normal text, bold or italic (not both unless really needed). Other things mentioned in this page (for example small text) shouldn't usually be used for the sake of readablity but mentioned here for if you really needed to use it for small extra comments related to information.

Formatting 101

Basically formatting is just making a html page but a bit more simpler for everyone. This tutorial is meant to be an explanation on how to use Fandom's Visual and Source editor.

Here for example is Bold & Cursive, if you use Visual editing you should see a "B" for bold and "C" for cursive. this may change depending on what language you set fandom to.

Hey wait! How is small text formatted? If you are in Visual editing and look next to cursive there is a button with a T on it, clicking it will show you a drop down of more advanced stuff.

Text with a cool line under it
Computer code
~~Text with strike through~~
^{SUPER script}
_{SUB script}
BIG
small
Text with wierd selecting????
a remove button.

with these features we can make _{really small text.}

there's a few other things i haven't mentioned like Sections are formatted like == this ==

this list without numbers! it is mostly used everywhere on the wiki,
its cool.

this is a list with numbers,
it sucks.

the numbered text is formatted like "# this" and unnumbered lists are formatted like "* this"

Okay, now onto templates now.

Templates

Have you seen Stub David before? if you're on mobile you haven't but he's shown below.

he's supposed to be added to smaller wiki pages like David (ironic). Most templates are like Stub, but there is another id like to mention: Cleanup, that template is used for improperly written articles. Cleanup is very different from stub since it also requires a reason to be added: take this as example

How is this formatted? its simple. In the source editor you type out the template like this: {{cleanup|Reason}}

that thing next to us is a user template. it should be in every single player page on this wiki, it may seem intimidating at first but its pretty easy. For images simply add the file name of the image into Image1 like "JustMonika.gif" as example. Speaking of images...

Links and images

Welcome, you will never escape fandom's horrible image sizing. heres an example image, but hey! you don't want it to be like that right? well if you click on the image in edit mode you can change it to be in the middle. Or even at the side! who cares you can (mostly) format it how you like it. Speaking of formatting. this text is actually flowing uninterrupted. now you see it in the middle right? its kind of annoying in terms of text so it is usually NEVER used on the main wiki. you could instead use it on your user page! (if you like that for some reason.)

Alternatively you can make the image COMPLETELY un text flowable which is kind of like the top image but its on the left, why would you do that? well... everyone does it so we don't care.

Links aren't usually annoying. For example, heres a link to Promo Codes! Links are formatted like you are spamton from deltarune. "[[this]]".
