Summary

The Retro Festival was an mini-event that acted as a form of compensation after the 2025 RetroStudio Condo Incident. It featured a plethora of discounted items every day, exclusive playtime rewards, and an all-new RetroStudio lottery!

"RETRO FESTIVAL IS A CELEBRATION OF HOW FAR RETROSTUDIO HAS COME! BRINGING BACK LIMITED RE-TEXTURED ITEMS, DISCOUNTS FOR CATALOG AND RETROBUX, AND A ONE-TIME ONLY RETRO LOTTERY!"

The key feature of the event was Playtime, it could be accumulated anywhere within RetroStudio and it rewarded you prizes when a certain milestone was reached.

Retrobux were at a discount, adding much more of them within each purchase. The more of a purchase you did, the more percentage of the Retrobux as an add-on you received.

This event featured 25 items among the returning limited re-textured items.

The Retro Lottery T-Shirt was the entirety of Retrostudio in a lottery. A T-shirt was indicated as your one-time lottery ticket, for a price of 50 Retrobux. Only 3 players who have bought the ticket could get a prize. The T-Shirt stayed on-sale through the entirety of the event.

The grand prize of the lottery was 1,105,850 Retrobux and the winners ended up being: AuriRoni, Tareik7, and Miles135680.

Trivia

The Helm of the Unlimited Wind is also named The Helm of Freeform Air in the event's prize lineup page.
This event was heavily criticised for the raise of 'Retro Grinder' games, the goal of which was to help accumulate Playtime for players who visited the game, hence why they were considered as effortless Retrobux farms among the community.
Retro Festival Fireworks have received several changes since their original release.
- When the Retro Festival Fireworks were first released, you could stand on top of them and gain height off the ground which could be exploited in games.
- After that was fixed, there was a glitch in the 2015 time period where equipping the fireworks would make you float. This was patched after a day.
- the fireworks had collision with other parts when launched (like into ceilings for example). This was changed afterwards.
- Lastly, in July 4th of 2025 they made the fireworks gears allowed only
Even after Cristiano100 announced Lottery winners, people could still get Playtime awards for some time, with a downside of no way to check your current Playtime due to 'Festival' tab removal. This worked till June 16th and was most likely an oversight.
The Molten skull was later reintroduced in the Black Friday 2025 sale costing 800 retrobux.
