Here are all the code blocks used in RetroStudio's code editor, allowing users to create and modify properties and behaviors of other objects within their own games. Text-based programming languages are not supported due to Roblox Filtering issues, and therefore node-based programming is implemented. This documentation will list all the code blocks used within the Scripting tab, with a complete description of the code, which scripts the code can be used in, as well as a Luau code equivalent to be used in Roblox Studio.

Deprecated

This section needs to be expanded. If you know any other orange blocks, please add to this.

Deprecated code blocks appear orange in color and shouldn't be used. Deprecated blocks usually arrive when the block has outdated parameters, functionality, or is "removed". Some of the deprecated blocks are joke blocks and dont do anything if used. Some get removed which results in the script containing them being unreadable.(e.g Give Retrobux block)

Deprecated
Block	Description	Deprecation Reason
Set Variable (orange)	Sets a variable	Deprecated in favor of the newer Set Variable block, which uses the output value for the variable name instead of an input value (which also allows for a variable's value as it's name).
While Loop (orange)	Performs a while loop, which continuously loops until it's condition is false	Most likely because new loop blocks added with the ability to break and continue loops
For Loop (orange)	Performs a for loop, which loops a fixed amount of times
Fire Remote Event (orange)	Fires a remote event	Deprecated in favor of its newer counterpart which uses a tuple instead of preset values
Receive Remote Event (orange)	Receives a remote event
Fire Bindable Event (orange)	Fires a bindable event
Receive Bindable Event (orange)	Receives a bindable event
Find First Child (orange)	Finds first child of a parent	Deprecated most likely because of the CanReturnNil boolean in the new Find First Child block
