Info

Taxi Simulator 2 (Brick Cars Edition) is a remake of the game on roblox made by David83335 put onto RetroStudio and is a vehicle demolition and passenger delivery simulator like the original, this remake was created because the original game was too laggy for lower end devices and very hard, so this remake was created to fix all those issues that the original had with beginners or lower end devices, the game has a massive map, bigger then the original, vehicle demolition system with of 9 of them, 2 unreleased, passenger delivery system, and extensive car customization which is quite revolutionary compared to many other games on RetroStudio like it.

Taxis

Taxis are literally the most important aspect of this game and are in the name, so obviously they are important, so we will be talking about the most important aspects of them and what they are.

Taxis

The Regular/Standard Taxi

This is the free taxi that you get when joining the game, and is very noticeable why, is has a good price-performance ratio because it is free but has a low stock speed, needing almost all of the taxi parts to be a really fast and decent taxi, over all, not great,

The Taxi Truck

This taxi in this version of the game takes the same shape from the standard taxi while changing up some things to still look somewhat unique, while interesting.

The Taxi Van

This taxi is literally just an extension of the standard taxi, it has a way higher roof and the back is completely covered, but is pretty much the same level as the Truck taxi, because of this the Van taxi is also bad still.

The Monster Taxi

It's a monster truck, but isn't actually a truck however, it's a standard taxi on stilts, it is extremely unstable but can get over many obstacles.

The Semi Taxi

This is like the truck taxi but slower and bigger, it has six wheels and has a bad price-performance ratio, it's overall not great, but might get a buff soon.

The Sport Taxi

This is based off of the Mazda RX7, this taxi has pop up headlights that only pop up, and its faster.

The GT Taxi

Never before seen in the real Ts2, this taxi was created because the owner wanted to make a new taxi that was his own thing and because its based off of his favorite car IRL, it has a really good price-performance ratio and is compatible with a lot of parts and is (in my opinion) really cool looking and is basically a better sport taxi.

The Moto-Taxi

This taxi was originally the worst taxi in the entire game back then, but redeemed itself over the many updates to the chassis of all the taxis, this made the moto taxi become a better taxi and now is a pretty good taxi, for performance, it has a pretty good price-performance ratio and can fit in tight spaces.

The F1 Taxi

This taxi has the fastest stock speed out of every single taxi but, this taxi isn't compatible with almost all physical taxi Parts in the game making it a pretty bad choice when you want to have the fastest taxi in the entire game, it does have an alright price-performance ratio, but is also very easy to get stuck on sidewalks because of it's extremely low suspension.

Scraped/Exclusive Taxis

These are taxis that could be added in a later update, are exclusive, or are scraped.

The Flying Taxi

This taxi would have been able to fly but was scrapped because of just how terrible it would have been for other players getting flown into and destroyed. Also the controls for it didn't work at all.

The Owner Supertaxi

This taxi had such fast acceleration that most of the time that after going +500 it would start flying out of control and destroyed itself so easily after one part would break off. This taxi is only available to just the owner of the game and a co owner taxi was also added.

The Taxi Tank

This taxi is tank, it would be the same level of strength as the monster or semi taxi, but it would have 12 wheels and would be pretty hard to get over a bit of obstacles.

Parts

Unfortunately due to updates with this game it caused most parts to completely stop working.

Taxi Parts

The Spoiler Part

This part increases the taxis traction by 0.5 and makes it look cooler kinda.

The Single Exhaust Part

This part allows the taxi to exhale it's fumes and other things, making the taxi be able to get +15 miles an hour.

The Double Exhaust Part

This part does the same things as the single exhaust part but at 75% more efficiency then the single exhaust variant, increasing the speed boost to +25 miles an hour.

The Jet Engine Part

This part increases the speed of the taxi by +50 with almost no other redeeming qualities, it also just makes your taxi wider and slightly heavier.

The Big Engine Part

This part is based off of one of the engine parts from taxi simulator (brick cars edition) made by David83335 and increases the speed by +30 miles an hour while making it harder to see while in first person.

The Brake Upgrade

This upgrade increases the brake power of your taxi and is upgradeable, this part does not have any physical properties that you can see with your own eyes on the taxi.

Buttons

The buttons that are on the top of the screen are very important too as they help you do basic things, Tell you stuff you need to know, or change preferences.

Create Taxi Button

located at the top of your screen, this button allows you to spawn a taxi, and after clicking, it will play a noise and change the size of it when clicked.

Settings button

Located on the right of the create taxi button, the settings button currently allows you to change into your taxi uniform as all other buttons haven't been worked on yet besides the menu.

Currency info button

Located on the left of the create taxi button, This button tells you how much money, taxi tokens, and delivery coins you have which might help you know if you can afford a new taxi, part, or part upgrade.

Customization

This is what allows your taxi to be different from everyone else by adding different parts! (and soon paint)

Parts shop

Located in the taxi headquarters building, this is the first out of the 3 buttons in that area, this button allows you to get more parts to put on your taxi so it can get faster or affect other properties of the taxi.

Taxi shop

located on the right of the part shop button, The taxi shop allows you to buy different taxis instead of the standard taxi, the multiple taxis give variety to the customization system, there are 9 different taxis.

Garage

Located on the right of the taxi shop button, This shop allows you configure your taxis parts and upgrade them using taxi tokens.

Passengers

Passengers are the main aspect of this game and after being picked up they will select a destination and when delivered give you these amounts of money depending on the time you deliver them,

Picking them up

Below is a tutorial on how to pickup and deliver passengers.

When finding a passenger

NEVER look somewhere that doesn't have a sidewalk, passengers don't spawn there most of the time.

Picking them up

When picking them up simply go in front of them with your taxi and after seeing you will walk and jump inside.

Delivery to destination

Afterwards, a arrow will appear on top of your taxi which will always point to the destination your needing to get to, follow the arrow but not completely, otherwise you might fall in the ocean, finally just drive to the destination and stop so they get out of the taxi and so you don't crash.

Cash From Delivery

after delivering the passengers they will give you money based on how slow or fast you got to the destination without blowing the taxi up.

Perfect Delivery

When delivering the passenger when 75% time is still remaining it will give you 300 - 400 money.

Good Delivery

When delivering the passenger when 50% time is still remaining it will give you 200 - 300 money.

Late Delivery

When delivering the passenger when 25% time is still remaining it will give you 100 - 200 money.

Passenger Designs

Map

The map is very important as it is where you take and deliver passengers to their destinations, its also pretty fun to crash and drive around in.

Events

Events are updates that change how the game looks during a holiday, maybe soon adding new parts.

2025 Halloween update

This update changed how all the grass sky and ocean looked during October, what it changed was making the night cycle only stay at night and basically disabling it, along with turning the ocean a darker blue and making it less transparent, it also made all the grass and trees turn orange completely, and finally, added pumpkins and small decorations to couple of the buildings, like taxi headquarters™, Taxi beard Sea burgers™ and Cool Katys cool Taxi Parts™,

2025 November update

This update isn't too important and just got rid of most of the orange grass and trees, it also got rid of all the decorations that all of the buildings originally had during Halloween, the ocean didn't go back to its original color and instead was given reflections, a couple of the areas where orange grass used to be was changed to snow to mention the upcoming Christmas update.

2025 Christmas update

on December 1st of 2025, info will be put here on what this added or what this is.

Tips/Tricks

Some tips and tricks to help you during delivery.

The GT taxi has lowered traction, but with the spoiler part it allows the taxi to have more grip due to downforce, making it have the same traction as every other taxi so you don't slip and crash.

When the wheels of a taxi lockup and don't move at all, (mostly happens when the taxi is left in one area for a long time.) try pressing the red parking brake button on the top right corner near the horn button, and flip taxi button. (if you are on a mobile phone then that menu will not show because it will go out of bounds on your screen.)

When your taxi flips over and can't get back up, use the flip tool instead of the flip button in the GUI when inside the taxi, this is because the flip button wasn't designed with our taxis in mind as the chassis comes from a free model on retro dev.

Possible Updates Coming Soon

These are planned or update ideas that might be used for future updates. (if any of these updates are added then they will be removed from this list, in fact this entire section might be completely removed soon)

Mini maps

The reason this might be added is because players were complaining about how it was hard to find their way through the map, so it could be added in order to help people understand the map better.

Daily Rewards

The reason why this might be added is because it would allow players to be more engaged with the game everyday and allows you to get free money basically without having to deliver passengers or purchase money with retrobux.

Quests

The reason why this might be added is because many people were complaining about how there wasn't really that much to do, so with quests people could be able to customize their vehicles with the money they get from quests and actually have more fun doing them.

Lore

Taxi Simulator 2 (Brick Cars Edition) is a game about in an island, barely any cars and only taxis where gas prices became so high that now passengers are now forced to only travel though taxis, that's where you come in!

You will need to deliver passengers in your taxi to the destinations they need to get to, depending on how slow or fast you complete the delivery will make them give more or less money, Taxi tokens and Delivery coins so you can buy more taxi parts, taxis, and etc,

(THIS IS A EDITED VERSION OF WHAT WAS SAID IN THE DISCORD FOURM.)

Crash system Bugs

The Crash System causes the car to destroy itself after hitting just one part most of the time, this was slightly fixed but it still a big issue.

Chassis Wheels Getting Stuck

This issue is never able to be fixed as it is a issue with the chassis which was a free model.

Trivia

The paint shop was an original customization feature that allowed you to paint your taxi in many different colors for free, but due to massive scripting updates on retro studio and with the game itself this customization feature was disabled, it will soon be a part of new update which might come soon but for now, it is missing.
