Description

The Horror Elevator is a horror remake based off of the "Elevator" game genre, which is the idea of players being in an elevator as the lobby, a random floor/room being picked as a map, and the rest of the gameplay depends on the theme of the game. It was created by user Muffinguy105, on May 07, 2025.

A Noob that was hung by the neck (CENSORED) in the Freddy Kreuger Floor. — This is the model (CENSORED) that got Muffinguy105's version of the game taken down.

On 23 March of 2026, the game was taken down by Retrostudio admins for "Depictions of self no-no within your game". GinoHBK still wants to make it clear that the "depicted self no-no" within the game was false and the killer of the floor (Freddy Krueger[1]) was the one that hung the victim.

The current version of this remake is now owned by GinoHBK.

Gameplay

Lobby

The player first spawns into a lobby room. The environment is rocky but full of light. On your left, you have 2 paths that lead to the "Games Room" that has teleporters to other remakes by the same developers or friends of the developers. The other path, "Admins", is a room used to credit everyone for good and bad things.

Rounds

When entering the elevator from the lobby, players spawn into a normal sized elevator. The intermission is around 30 seconds. The room is tidy but does have blood on some of the decoration. At the top of the door, it has a skull that stares with a blood splatter. The right panel next to the door does nothing but you can stand on top of it and jam to the music that plays during intermission.

Floors

Floors are the main gameplay of The Horror Elevator. All floors are harmful.

Intermission Songs

All kinds of music are used during Intermission, to make you feel nostalgic, to fit the horror theme or just to dance to.

Intermission Songs
Song Name	Artist Name	Info About the Song
Fire [Instrumental]	The Crazy World of Arthur Brown	(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fire_(Arthur_Brown_song)) A song released by this psychedelic rock band in 1968, that was almost as popular as "Hey Jude" by The Beatles of September 1968, just barely hitting number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. It's influence in the media today has a lot to do with modern artists just screaming "FIRE!" in every tone, whether it's sad, angry or just evil. This song changed history in music and proved that everyone's ideas, whether it can be crazy, can be liked in some kind of way.
Grisly Reminder	Midnight Syndicate	"Grisly Reminder" is a haunting, music box-driven gothic horror track from their 2005 concept album The 13th Hour. It is widely used in live theme park attractions, like Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights and Cedar Point’s HalloWeekends, as well as digital media, including Roblox games, horror mobile apps, and online Creepypasta videos.
Jeepers Creepers	Paul Whiteman's Swing Wing	The 1938 cover of "Jeepers Creepers" is a lively swing track featuring The Modernaires and Jack Teagarden. In media, it serves as the eerie theme song for the Jeepers Creepers horror franchise, where hearing its cheerful melody on an old radio acts as a terrifying warning that the flesh-eating creature is nearby hunting for human eyes.
L no Theme	Hideki Taniuchi	"L no Theme" is a fast-paced, piano-and-rock instrumental composed for L's brilliant deductions in the Death Note anime. Outside the show, its iconic, tense melody has become a massive internet meme, widely used in TikToks, YouTube videos, and gaming streams to sound-track moments of deep thinking, intense calculation, or "big brain" logic, but can also be used in eerie Horror games like The Horror Elevator.
Slender Man [instrumental]	Markus N.	"Slender Man" is an eerie, nursery-rhyme-style internet song detailing the faceless creepypasta entity who stalks fleeing children. Instead of mainstream media, it heavily soundtracked early-2010s YouTube tribute videos, indie gaming edits, and lyric animations, and remains a popular vocal cover track on the karaoke apps.
Corpse Party Chapter 1 Theme Remix	Neku (Mao Hamamoto)	"『 Corpse Party 』Chapter 1 Theme Remix" is a fast-paced electronic electronic dance track released in May 2014 that reimagines Mao Hamamoto's original eerie horror BGM into a high-energy, chiptune-infused anthem. While it began as a standalone fan-made arrangement on SoundCloud - Neku, its immense online popularity led to it being heavily utilized in gaming media, most notably as featured custom background music in the popular Roblox game The Normal Elevator. Due to this cross-platform implementation, the track is widely recognized by both horror RPG enthusiasts and the broader internet gaming community.
Spooky Scary Skeletons [REMIX]	The Living Tombstone [Original by Andrew Gold]	"Spooky, Scary Skeletons (Undead Tombstone Remix)" is a fast-paced electronic dance track based on Andrew Gold's 1996 Halloween song. Originally popularized as a 2013 EDM remix by The Living Tombstone, its infectious beat transformed the children's track into a massive internet phenomenon.

Trivia

Muffinguy105's version had MUCH more than 4 floors. Estimated to be around 11 floors.
GinoHBK listened to all of his Megadeth albums and finished the lobby on the last track.

Bugs

Whenever a player goes into the elevator after the Slenderman floor's jumpscare occured, the player keeps floating above the elevator until the floor ends.
