The earliest TikTok

The Vampire Event was a RetroStudio event that started on July 18, 2023. The event was separated into two games, it was the first to do so.

The event contained no prizes besides a promocode that gave 500 Retrobux. During the event, it encouraged you to buy the hat "Drac's Mask" on the catalog, which costs 5 Retrobux.

Development

It is unknown how it originally started, but it is thought to be cause by the earliest TikTok that was made by a Russian, nypa_kobuakof. Following the popularity of a different TikTok, RetroStudio's icon was updated, along with the event starting in the first game, "LAST TO LEAVE DRAVULA CIRCLE WINS." A few hours later, the game was replaced by "Hotel Transylvania Obby!".

Games

A game called "LAST TO LEAVE DRACULA CIRCLE WINS" emerged on the games page which exceeded over 451 concurrent players and was listed as an "event" on the page as well.

The game was very slow and laggy due to the amount of players, poor scripting of the game, and chat overflow with one of the admins saying "The game is broken!" in the already overflowing chat.

The point of the game was a simple "The last one to leave the circle wins" type of game.

A second game featured in the event was the Hotel Transylvania Obby by Hiphopbenny. The game was created two years prior to the event. Players would complete several stages to save the hotel with Dracula. Just like the previous game, no prizes were awarded, and completing the obby would have given you the promocode for the event.

Promocodes

A new one time use promocode was released named "DracMask".
