General Overview

Vampire Hunters is a murder mystery style game made by Vibinium. When the match starts, you have a chance to become 1 of 3 roles: Survivor, Detective, Vampire. If you are a Survivor or Detective, your objective is to live until time runs out or kill the Vampire. If you are a Vampire, your goal is to kill the Survivors and Detective(s). Rounds can last up to 200 seconds long, and there are two different types of modes: Normal and Infection. After each game, you are given credits that you can use to purchase cosmetics, gears, or vampire abilities.

The game is also one of the featured games in the "BLOXTober 2025" Halloween event. If you join the "RetroStudio Bloxtober Countdown Hub 2025" game, make your way to the attic, and enter the room showcasing other games participating in the event, you can see a dedicated portal that allows you to enter the game from the hub. Since it is part of the event, the game has badges and RetroStudio cosmetics that you can obtain that are limited-time. By completing the BLOXTober quest and obtaining the RetroBLOXikin, you add progress to the Hub's badge "The Topaz Eye".

Gameplay

Basics

It will take 25 seconds in lobby before a map is chosen and loaded. Once the map is chosen, a loading screen will appear and you will be given your role, your character, and the map chosen. The information of the match will fade away, then the round truly begins. Rounds last 200 seconds, giving enough time for the Detective(s)/Survivors and/or the Vampire(s) to win. Most of the maps are small and condensed, most coming with doors and light switches to interact with. In your inventory, everyone is given a flashlight that can run out of battery the more you use it. You turn on the flashlight by tapping on the flashlight button on mobile and by pressing "E" on PC.

Game Modes

There are currently only two game modes: Normal and Infection.

Normal: This is the base game mode you will be playing majority of the time. You follow the basic rules of play, you have a chance of either becoming Survivor, Detective, or Vampire, and your end goals are the same.
Infection: This is the only special game mode of the game. In this mode, everyone (except the person who becomes Vampire) is a detective, meaning everyone has access to a gun. The end goal is the same for Detectives, but the goal for the Vampire is different. As a Vampire, your goal is to infect everyone else i.e. everyone becomes an infected Vampire.

Credits

Credits are the main in-game currency that you can earn by playing the game. You will earn them no matter which role you play. They are used to purchase Accessories/Vampire Abilities.

You can purchase specified amounts of Credits in-game in the shop with Retrobux.
You can purchase a Credits Multiplier (in-game or on the games page) that boosts the amount of Credits you earn with Retrobux.

Accessories/Vampire Abilities

Accessories and Vampire Abilities are items/perks you can purchase with Credits. Accessories contain cosmetics and gears, which can be used by all roles. Vampire Abilities contain perks that benefit the Vampire role. For cosmetics, you need to interact with the item, then interact with it again to equip it. For gears and vampire abilities, you only need to interact with it once to purchase it as it will automatically select it. Gears and vampire abilities will only be available per round/per turn, meaning you will only have them in the current round/current vampire turn (Note: If you turn into an infected Vampire, it will not activate the perk nor take away your credits). You will need to pay the specified amount of Credits to use the item/perk again. If you leave the game and rejoin, you will need to re-select the gear/vampire ability to use it again.
